Newsletter -
March 2007
______________________________________________________________
Welcome
back retreaters! Show and Tell was awesome seeing all the wonderful
quilts and works-in-progress that you worked so diligently on. And
Jessie Scott's video slide-show of the retreat was "fantabulous!"
Now we all know exactly how much fun you all had and will definitely consider
signing up for next year's retreat. Plus, I do believe we could all
benefit by Carol LaFleur's exercise breaks while we're busy working on our
upcoming charity quilts. What do you say, Carol?
The Mystery Quilt and the Charity Quilt projects are next on our list of activities. Joan Henry has started passing out the steps for the mystery quilt and will continue to do so every two weeks until completion. See her if you're missing either step 1 or 2. Rev up those machines girls, and make sure you have all the supplies you'll need for both projects. Have you given any thought to the possible charities we should consider donating our handiwork to?
Since we
will be terribly busy throughout March, we will cancel this month's blotto and
resume in April. Lynn Heipershausen will be running next month's blotto.
Dale
Angione stated that if you were a member of the guild as of last year, you
should already have received your guild membership card. New cards will
only be given to new members. New cards are currently being ordered.
Updated
membership rosters were distributed last week. If you did not receive
one, please see me… Kathy

REMINDERS
Anyone
wishing to submit anything for the newsletter should see Carol Hembach by the
3rd Tuesday of the month. We are interested in starting a Tip of the
Month, and are looking for helpful hints, tips or shortcuts to pass on to our
fellow members. Anything you think of that would be useful will be
greatly appreciated.
Any
change in email, mailing address or phone # should be reported to the
President.
