April 2009 Newsletter

Many thanks to Maureen Girardin and Alice Besler for their hard work on the quilt retreat.  They did and outstanding job!   Everyone had a great time.  Plans are under way for next year's retreat that will include an extra day.   Mark your calendars: March 8-11, 2010 (Monday-Thursday).  Coordinators for the 2010 retreat are Sharleen Peters, Sandy Shillington and Joanne Reese. 

Chatham Class:  On April 21, Lorene Gruber will be presenting a class on her method of making a long cabin quilt.  A supply list will be available.

Blotto: Congratulations to Judy Mix for winning the March blotto.  See Judy if you'd like a kit for the May blotto (to be completed on or before May 5).

Secret Sisters:  Third Tuesday of the month (April 21).

UFO Challenge:  The next UFO is item #2 on your list.  The completion date is May 26.

The monthly Guild Meeting is 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 7, at Laurel Manor.  Remember to wear your name tags.
