Aren’t we lucky to live in Florida!  I spoke with my daughter in Chicago and she’s had her fill of winter!  In fact, Chicago’s had only 11 minutes of sunlight so far this February.  I don’t know what’s worse – all those gloomy days, or the fact that someone’s actually counting the minutes of sunlight (when they could be quilting)!  Happy Valentine’s Day to all!

Horray!!! Our pictoral directory is ready, available in Color ($5) or Black/White ($1).  To order your copy, see Ann Fay.

Maureen Girardin has the kits ($1) for the February blotto.  If you’ve purchased a kit, please return the completed block to Maureen on or before February 26th, the day of the drawing.

As you may know, Diane English is collecting quilts for the wounded Marines.  If you planned on making a lap-size quilt for this worthwhile cause, Diane would appreciate if you have it ready for her at our February 19th meeting.

Secret Sisters:  Bring your items on February 19th “hidden” in a Wal-Mart bag (so your secret sister can’t identify you as you come into the building).

If you are interested in purchasing a shirt with the guild’s logo, see Sheila King.
