BLOTTO – Lucille
Tremblay was the lucky recipient at the drawing on Tuesday, September 25. She
will plan the block for the coming month. Details available next Tuesday,
October 2 with the drawing scheduled for October 30. Just $1 to
participate – correct amount is appreciated.
October 2 – The Villages Quilt Guild
7 p.m. at Laurel Manor – Nominations of
President and Secretary of the Guild will be presented along with a program by
Lori Cabot who is the daughter of one of our Guild Members. She will present a
trunk show featuring wool quilts.

on the above link. On October 16 Lorene Gruber will teach the
"Funky Rooster". This is a great chance to use some of those beads we
seem to have collected. Details, supplies, etc. on the web site.
October 23 - Jennie Rayment at Pimlico.
Tickets and details are available from Gae Nocella. If attending you will need
scissors, needle, and thread. If you are attending both the morning AND
afternoon sessions, bring your lunch.
October – (Hopefully by the
end of the month) Whippoorwill is moving north of the Market of Marion on the
East Side of 441.
The Jacksonville Quilt Show was great fun. Special THANKS to Joy Lynch for arranging the bus
trip.

This Villages Lifelong Learning College

Thread you are no longer
using will go to a good cause. If you would like to donate it, Nancy
Eisenhauer’s daughter takes it to the school where she teaches for the kids to
use. Just bring it on Tuesday morning(s).
