Quilters June 2007
At our Tuesday, June 5th morning
meeting, we will be presenting the quilts to the members of the Mathis
family. You are welcome to bring snacks
to share. Coffee/tea will be provided. Once again we’ve arranged for a bus to the Jacksonville
Quilt Show. The date is Thursday,
September 20th – the cost is $24 (which includes your entry to the
show). At this great price we need to
fill every seat, so if you’re interested, get in touch with Joy Lynch
ASAP (lynch@thevillages.net ). Seats are filling up fast, but unless we
fill the bus, the remaining seats will be offered to other guild chapters. See www.quiltfestjax.com
for additional info about the show. Plans are already
under way for next year’s quilt retreat, on April 1-3, 2008. We need ideas for classes, so if there’s
anything you’d like to learn, or if there’s anything you can teach, let Joy
Lynch or Kay Hasson know (or drop Joy an email at lynch@thevillages.net ) Villages Quilting Guild – June 5 Upcoming classes: * Scheduled for the fall, Maureen Girardin will be
